For the second year in a row, North Las Vegas Mayor Pro Tem Scott Black and Clark County Commission Chairwoman Marilyn Kirkpatrick will host a free back-to-school pool party and movie for the community!
Splash in the pool; enjoy free hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones and drinks; then watch Disney's "The Little Mermaid" from the deck or the pool.
The fun will begin at 6 p.m. this Friday, Aug. 9 at Silver Mesa Recreation Center Pool, 4025 Allen Lane, North Las Vegas. The movie will start at dusk, approximately 7:30 p.m.
