A draft Amendment to the to the 2010-2011, 2013-2014, 2014-2015 AND 2015-2016 Action Plans for the City of North Las Vegas’ Neighborhood and Leisure Services Department, Real Property & Housing Services Division is currently being proposed. The City of North Las Vegas is proposing to reprogram the following Community Development Block Grant Funds from FY 2010-2016:
$22,409.28-FY 2010-2011
- Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada’s acquisition rehab program in the amount of $22,409.28
- City of North Las Vegas’ Emergency Repair program in the amount of $60,000.00
- City of North Las Vegas’ Petitti Pool Rehab in the amount of $157,693.74
- Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada energy efficient rehab in the amount of $15,838.05
- City of North Las Vegas Administration in the amount of $3,088.50
- City of North Las Vegas’ Neighborhood and Leisure Services Joe Kneip Park Project in the amount $70,800.00
These funds total $329,829.57 of unspent City of North Las Vegas’ Neighborhood and Leisure Services Department, Real Property & Housing Services Division. Funds will be reallocated in the following manner; $60,000.00 will be reallocated to Housing Rehab Project Delivery and $269,829.57 to be reprogrammed to the Neighborhood Parks Improvements Project. The Neighborhood Parks Improvements Project consists of rehabilitation for several parks to include but not limited to Petitti Park and Valley View Park. Rehabilitation includes new lighting, new water fountains, shade structures, playground equipment, new picnic areas, a new soccer field, and a new basketball court. The Neighborhood Parks Improvements Project will be in addition to the CNLV Capital Improvement Program, Parks Renovations Project.
