The City of North Las Vegas hosts Fiesta CNLV

The City of North Las Vegas is pleased to present Fiesta CNLV, the first concert of the 2016 Tastes, Tunes & ‘Toons Series and a celebration of the City's 70th birthday. It will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 22, in front of City Hall, 2250 Las Vegas Blvd., North, North Las Vegas. 

The multi-cultural festival in North Las Vegas' downtown corridor is a celebration of the diverse cuisine, music and cultures of the residents of North Las Vegas. Admission is free.

Israel Cabañas, known as "El Charro Noble" (The Noble Cowboy), a semi-finalist on "Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento" ("I Have Talent, A Lot of Talent"), will headline the event. Mariachi Perla de Mexico and Las Vegas-based El Moreno Carrillo y su banda also will perform.

The event will feature a parade, coordinated by Latina television personality Janet Revere, and performances by Danzo Del Carrizo and Brinco del Chinelo, as well as native Aztec dance, Brazilian dance and Batucada and Capoeira demonstrations. Contestants from Nevada beauty pageants also will appear.

There will be a car show and children’s activities – all free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and artists and vendors will showcase their wares.

The event is a partnership between the City of North Las Vegas, Amerigroup, Buscando Estrella by Janet Revere, TIB Group, North Vista Hospital and Republic Services.

Please note: There will be ½-hour street closure on McDaniel Street during the parade. Free parking will be available in the North Las Vegas City Hall parking lot.
